Here we have a Pre-Owned Vostok Europe AN-225 Mriya Automatic 43mm Limited Edition Watch, numbered 1497/3000. It is a rugged, limited-edition timepiece built to pay tribute to the world’s largest cargo aircraft, the Antonov An-225 Mriya. While the mainline Mriya series is famous for its massive 50mm chronograph variants, this specific 43mm edition (excluding crown) offers a much more wearable profile while retaining its heavy-duty tactical aesthetic look.
Case:
The case is made out of Stainless Steel and measures 43mm. It has a polished finish and a unidirectional bezel. There is a exhibition case back and both the dial and movement are protected by hardened K1 mineral crystal enhanced with an anti-reflective (AR) coating. Vostok Europe deliberately uses K1 mineral glass for its tactical tool watches because it offers a hybrid set of benefits:
High Shatter Resistance: It is significantly more flexible and impact-resistant than sapphire crystal, meaning it will not shatter under intense pressure or hard impacts (which is why these watches are trusted in the gruelling Dakar Rally).
Enhanced Scratch Resistance: It is chemically treated to be substantially harder than standard mineral glass, offering a level of scratch resistance that approaches sapphire.
Thick Construction: Depending on the exact casing, Vostok Europe builds these crystals to a massive 3.5mm to 4mm thickness to maximize durability under deep-water pressure.
The watch also features a lockdown screw crown.
Dial:
The watch has a Sunray Blue Dial, it has a Deep, metallic-sheen that shifts colour under direct sunlight.
Dial Layout & Features:
Twenty Four Hour Indicator: This is positioned below the 12 o’clock position and denotes the 24 hour time of the watch.
Day/Night Indicator: Positioned as a prominent sub-dial (near the 6 o’clock portion of the dial), this complication tracks AM/PM hours through a two-colour rotating disc.
Date Aperture: Positioned at the 6 o'clock mark for clean, symmetrical tracking.
Luminescence: The hour hands, minute hands, and bold index markers are heavily coated in Super-LumiNova paint for immediate readability in pitch-black conditions or deep dives.
Inner Ring Details: The outer edge features a precise minutes/seconds chapter ring that aligns perfectly with the unidirectional external dive bezel.
Movement:
The Vostok AN-225 Mriya features a Russian developed automatic movement that comprises of 32 jewels and has a power reserve of approximately 31-36 hours.
Strap/Bracelet:
The watch strap is replacement soft blue leather 2 piece strap with a the original Vostok Europe Pin Buckle.
The watch was produced in between 2015-2017 and is in good used condition with marks commensurate with careful use. (please refer to the photographs)
This watch comes with the original watch box and Guarantee card/ booklet.
