For sale is a beautiful, highly classic, and collectible vintage Tudor Oysterdate (Ref: 7992) dating back to circa 1966 (Watch Serial Number checked with Tudor Date Chart). Originating from an era where Tudor timepieces proudly shared premium hardware with their parent company, this watch features a genuine Rolex Oyster stainless steel case, a Rolex-signed crown, and a Rolex-stamped case back, making it a stellar investment piece for vintage horology enthusiasts.

Case:

This Tudor has a 34mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case with sharp, honest lugs and a polished smooth bezel. The rear of the watch has a contrasting brushed finish with a polished screw down Rolex back. It has a signed Rolex screw down crown.

Dial:

It has a Beautifully aged Silver Sunburst dial featuring applied stick hour markers, classic baton hands, and the timeless Tudor Rose logo on the applied hour marker at 12 o’clock. There is a date complication at 3 o’clock. This is all covered with an Acrylic Crystal.

Movement:

The heart of the watch is a Tudor Calibre 2403, a manually wound movement with 21 Rubies. It winds smoothly, ticks strongly, and keeps reliable vintage time.

Bracelet/Strap:

The watch has been paired with a brand new tan soft leather padded strap that looks and feels terrific, the Rolex pin and buckle which was an original feature of this watch looks fab too.

The watch comes in excellent condition for it’s age with marks and swirls commensurate with very careful ownership and use. The crystal has aged related small scratches if viewed under a loupe.

The watch comes with the original Tudor inner box, the original paper guarantee form which has not been completed by the selling Jeweller and the original manual.
