Here we have a Pre-Owned Vintage Longines 9ct Yellow Gold Automatic Watch.

A classic gold dress watch, this longines watch was manufactured in 1963. Elegance is the look here and this watch would complment any type of suit or jacket, hell, even jeans and a shirt would look good with this!

Case:A 35mm Solid 9ct Yellow Gold case with hallmarks to the lugs. This has a solid Yellow Gold case back with a beautiful gold embossed Longines Flagship. The watch is a polished finish with the exception of around the Flagship on the rear.

Dial:A wonderfully clean light silvered dial with gold Arabic numerals and baton markers. Gold coloured hands and the Longines logo and model name flagship together with Automatic imprinted on the dial.

Movement:The heart of this watch is the Longines 340 Caliber. Longines developed the calibre 340 to be slimmer than a standard automatic movement, so the rotor that winds the watch is not an afterthought but incorporated into the movement.  It is off-centre, and the gearing is around the outside, and like all Longines of this period it is beautifully finished. This movement has a power reserve of 43 hours and it has 17 Jewels. Not only is this Caliber Automatic, it also has a sweeping seconds hand.

Strap/Bracelet:The watch is fastened by a black used leather two piece strap with a gold coloured non Longines pin buckle.

The watch comes with an original era specific watch box. There are no papers.

The condition of this watch is excellent for its age with wear and tear commensurate with careful ownership and use. (please refer to the photographs).
