The Hydronaut is a robust stainless steel automatic diver produced between roughly 1998 and 2006, acting as a transitional, modern bridge between the vintage Tudor Submariners and the modern Pelagos, this model was produced in 2006.

Case:

A 40.5mm diameter Stainless Steel case with polished and satin finishes, known for its unique "stepped" or "chamfered" bezel and lugs, with a 47mm lug-to-lug measurement providing a comfortable, modern fit. Featuring a distinct matte grey unidirectional, 120-click, stainless steel bezel with distinctive deep knurling and raised polished indicators with a 15-minute diving scale. The case back is a solid screw in type. The crown is signed and screw down.

Dial:

A wonderfully clean matte black dial with applied luminous indices with silvered and lumed hour, minute and central seconds hands. A date complication is at 3 o’clock. The watch has a flat sapphire crystal with a cyclops window over the date. Signed with the Tudor Logo and the model name and depth rating in clean and clear raised silver paint.

Movement:

The Tudor Hydronaut Ref: 89190 is powered by the robust and reliable ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. This high-grade self-winding movement offers a 38-hour power reserve, 25 jewels, and a date complication.

Strap/Bracelet:

The bracelet is an original Tudor Hydronaut 93550 (non-diver extension) with 640 end links and a fold over locking and signed clasp.

The watch comes with the original outer and lovely burgundy inner wooden box with matching cusion and felt wrap, original Warranty certificate and a Sterling Vault Auctioneers Authenticity Card.

This watch has been checked and certified as clear by ‘The Watch Register’ the Global Database of Lost, Stolen and Counterfeit Watches. This database covers a broad range of incidents including robberies, burglaries, snatches, frauds, postal losses, accidental losses and fakes.
