Here we have a Pre-Owned Oris ProDiver Titanium GMT Automatic Ref: 7748.
The Oris ProDiver design was born of the partnership between Oris and Roman Frischknecht, a Swiss Commercial Diver. He identified a lack of safety and deficient functionality among the existing range of watches on the market. Based on this feedback, the Oris design team embarked on extensive research and development in order to create a new timepiece fulfilling the requirements laid out by Roman. The Oris ProDiver was born.
Case:
The case is 48mm Titanium with a rubber ceramic minutes scale top ring which has the Oris patented Safety System functionality. The crown is screw down thereby ensuring water tightness. The Titanium case back bears a special set of engravings with a metres to feet conversion scale going up to 1000m/3281ft which allows for rapid calculation by divers working in both metric and imperial measurements.
Dial:
The Oris ProDiver Titanium GMT dial is black with a wave pattern design. There is a date complication window at 3 o’clock. The hour and minute hands are black with lume and the GMT hand is also black with a yellow arrow head for distinctive legibility. There is also a small seconds complication at 9 o’clock. On the dial there is also a yellow GMT printed which contrasts nicely with the black dial. All this is covered by a domed scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides..
Movement:
The heart of the Oris ProDiver Titanium GMT is the Oris 748 Automatic movement. Based on the Sellita SW 220-1, specifically modified by Oris to feature a GMT (second time zone), small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock, and an enlarged date window. It is a reliable, high-beat Swiss movement
Strap/Bracelet:
The 07 08 26 74PEB Titanium bracelet was specifically designed for the Oris ProDiver 7748 watch. It has a divers extension and a fold over locking clasp.
The watch comes with the original inner case and outer box, International Warranty Card, Sterling Vault Auctioneers Authenticity Card and a User Manual.
The condition of the watch is very good with a few minor scratches on the case back and tiny dinks on the case. The watch passed authentication in April 2026 by Sterling Vault Auctioneers, the authentication certificate card is present.
