Here we have a Pre-Owned Oris ProDiver Chronograph Automatic Ref:7683.
The Oris ProDiver design was born of the partnership between Oris and Roman Frischknecht, a Swiss Commercial Diver. He identified a lack of safety and deficient functionality among the existing range of watches on the market. Based on this feedback, the Oris design team embarked on extensive research and development in order to create a new timepiece fulfilling the requirements laid out by Roman. The Oris ProDiver was born.
Case:
The case is 48mm Titanium with a circular satinated scratch resistant ceramic Timer scale which has the Oris patented Safety System functionality. The crown and chronograph pushers are screw down thereby ensuring water tightness. The Titanium case back bears a special set of engravings with a metres to feet conversion scale going up to 1000m/3281ft which allows for rapid calculation by divers working in both metric and imperial measurements.
Dial:
The Oris ProDiver Chronograph dial is black with a wave pattern design, three chronograph sub-dials are present. At 12 o’clock is the stopwatch minute sub-dial, at 6 o’clock is the stopwatch hours sub-dial and at 9 o’clock is the small seconds sub-dial. All this is covered by a scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal.
Movement:
The heart of the Oris ProDiver Chronograph is the Oris 774 Automatic movement. Based on the Sellita SW 500, the 774 has a 48 hour power reserve, 25 jewels and runs at 28,800 vph, a quick set date and is hacking.
Strap/Bracelet:
The strap is an high quality Oris Caoutchouc rubber divers strap with a Titanium folding clasp with divers extension. There is also a spare Titanium bracelet with this watch (used).
The watch comes with a waterproof Hardshell presentation case with a spare Titanium bracelet, user manual and strap/bracelet changing tools. The watch had a service in April 2026 as well as a crown stem repair. The watch has a warrant for 12 months (until April 2027)
The condition of the watch is very good with a few minor scratched on the case back and tiny dinks on the case. The clasp for the rubber strap is scratch free but the spare Titanium bracelet has scratches on the clasp. The watch passed authentication in October 2025 by Sterling Vault Auctioneers, the authentication certificate card is present.
