Pre-Owned Omega Speedmaster Rattrapante (Carbon Fibre Version) Ref:3540.50.00 - Rare!

Here we have a rare Speedmaster, the Omega Speedmaster Split-Seconds or Rattrapante.

Introduced in 1999 and only produced until 2003, this was the first Speedmaster with the Rattrapante complication. This version is the Carbon Fibre Tachymeter version 3540.50.00 and according to some, this version only had a run of 5000 pieces.

Case:

A 42mm Stainless Steel case with a Carbon Fibre Bezel. A signed crown with three further Chronograph pushers.. Solid Case Back with the Speedmaster Hippocampus.

Dial: A wonderful black Carbon Fibre effect dial with 3 sub-dials. Lumed Baton Indices with 5 minute interval markers on the rehaut. White arrow lumed Hour & Minutes hands and Stopwatch pointer with contrasting split seconds pointer.

Movement:

Powering this Rattrapante is an Omega 3600 based on the ETA 7750 with 28 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. This watch comes with a certified Chronometer Warranty.

Strap/Bracelet:

Featuring an Omega Speedmaster Professional Stainless Steel Bracelet with signed fold over locking clasp. This bracelet would fit an 18.5cm wrist. There are no spare links.

The condition of this watch is very good for its age with scratches and marks commensurate with the age of the watch.

The watch comes with the original Inner & Outer Box, Chronometer Warranty Certificate, User Manual and original International Warranty Card.
