Pre-Owned Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean SOCHI Winter Olympics Special Edition - Number 1920 of only 2014 made.
It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005.
This stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M not only pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage but also to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. It was produced in an edition limited to 2,014 pieces.
Case: This 45.5 mm stainless steel case with a black ceramic unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel with blue & red coloured accents from 12 through 10 on the diving scale. The dial is 16.6mm thick and has a lock down crown and Helium valve. The watch serial number: 86302077 is engraved on one of the lugs. On the case back is the serial number showing this watch to be number 1920 out of only 2014 made. Also on the case back is the embossed SOCHI Olympic Logo.
Dial: This watch features a black dial with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. With silvered Arrow hands with Superluminova on the hands and baton markers, chrome numbers at 12, 6 & 9 with a chrome Omega sign and red Seamaster.
Covered with Domed Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective treatment both sides. There is a small scratch on the crystal just above the 7 & 8 batons.
Calibre:
The MEGA Co-Axial calibre 8500 is at the heart of this wristwatch. The 8500 is a Self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions. Bridges and the oscillating mass are decorated with exclusive Geneva waves in arabesque. Power reserve: 60 hours. Watch Serial number engraved on the movement.
Strap/Bracelet: The watch comes with an Omega Stainless Steel bracelet with fold over clasp with a diver extension with age related minor scratches.
This watch presents in good condition for its age, with moderate signs of wear (scratches and/or marks), commensurate with careful ownership and use. Please refer to the photographs.
