For sale is a highly collectible and striking Pre-Owned Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean "Sochi 2014" Olympic Special Edition (Ref: 522.30.46.21.01.001). Released in a strict limited run of only 2,014 numbered pieces globally to mark the 2014 Winter Olympics, this rugged 45.5mm professional dive watch features beautiful commemorative red and blue accents on its matte black ceramic bezel.
Case:
This 45.5 mm stainless steel case with a matte dark grey/black ceramic unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel with blue & red coloured accents from 12 through 10 on the diving scale, this unique bezel is coloured to represent the colours of the Russian Flag. The case is 16.6mm thick and has a lock down crown and Helium valve. The watch serial number: 86302077 is engraved on one of the lugs. On the case back is the serial number showing this watch to be number 1920 out of only 2014 made. Also on the case back is the embossed SOCHI Olympic Logo.
Dial:
This watch features a black dial with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. With silvered Arrow hands with Superluminova on the hands and applied baton markers, applied chrome Arabic numbers at 12, 6 & 9 with an applied chrome Omega logo and ‘Red’ Seamaster as opposed to the usual Orange or White Seamaster wording. Covered with Domed Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective treatment both sides.
Calibre:
The OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8500 is at the heart of this wristwatch. The 8500 is a Self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions. Bridges and the oscillating mass are decorated with exclusive Geneva waves in arabesque. Power reserve: 60 hours. Watch Serial number engraved on the movement.
Strap/Bracelet:The watch comes with an Omega Stainless Steel bracelet with fold over clasp with a diver extension.
This watch has been checked and certified as clear by ‘The Watch Register’ the Global Database of Lost, Stolen and Counterfeit Watches. This database covers a broad range of incidents including robberies, burglaries, snatches, frauds, postal losses, accidental losses and fakes.
This watch presents in good condition for its age, with moderate signs of wear (scratches and/or marks), commensurate with careful ownership and use. There is a small scratch on the crystal just above the 7 & 8 batons. Please refer to the photographs.
Comes with a non-original Omega inner and outer box and operating instructions book. There are no papers.
