A classic pre-owned yellow gold dress watch, this Longines was produced in 1966.
The case was made by the Dennison Watch Company which is signified by the Sponsors Mark A.L.D. This stands for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, the founder of the Dennison Watch Case Company. Based in Birmingham, they were a highly respected manufacturer that produced cases for high-end Swiss movements from brands like Baume (who were Longines agents in the UK), Omega, and Rolex to avoid high import duties on complete gold
