Here we have for sale a Pre-Owned Jaeger-LeCoultre Club ladies' cocktail watch Ref: 100106.
This is a highly distinctive and rare vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Club Ladies' Cocktail Watch (Ref: 100106). Originating from the iconic "Club" series of the late 1960s and 1970s, this timepiece beautifully encapsulates the elegant, geometric design language of its era. Perfect as a high-end vintage dress piece or a unique addition to a serious Swiss watch collection.
Case:
The watch features a Stainless Steel structure wrapped in a heavy 20-micron gold electroplating layer. Marked historically on Swiss cases as Plaqué Or G 20, this thickness provides heavy duty wear resistance against friction. The case has a snap on solid case back with the model number and watch serial number engraved. The signed crown is also electroplated.
Dial:
This model showcases a vertically brushed champagne/gilt finish with stylized, mod-style 12, 3, 6, and 9 Arabic indices and matching gold-tone baton handset.
Movement:
At the heart of the Club is a manually wound Jaeger Le-Coultre 807 calibre with 17 jewels. JLC Calibre 807 is a real 17-jewel mechanical movement, but it is actually a highly specific, ultra-small tonneau-shaped movement (measuring roughly 13mm x 15.4mm). It was predominantly built by Jaeger-LeCoultre as an in-house calibre during the late 1960s to power high-end women’s cocktail pieces and jewellery watches.
Strap/Bracelet:
This watch is fitted with the original vintage expandable stretch watch bracelet, made of yellow gold-plated stainless steel with an lovely engraved textured link pattern.
This watch presents in good condition with signs of wear (scratches and/or marks) throughout. It has not been refurbished or polished and is in authentic condition commensurate with its age & careful ownership. Please refer to the photographs.
Please note that the movement has not been professionally tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense.
When purchasing a watch for delivery outside of the UK, all local Customs Authority charges i.e. VAT and import charges etc. are the responsibility of the ‘Buyer’ and are not included in the sale price of the watch.
The photos form part of the description.
