Ebel watch history dates back to Switzerland in 1911 and is based on a premise that at that time was unique: established by a married couple, each brought their own brand of masculinity and femininity to the brand identity. Eugène Blum and Alice Lévy combined their initials (Eugène Blum et Lévy) to formulate the brand name and worked in close partnership to create a line of premium quality luxury wristwatches that fused the male with the female.

Ebel watches began with Eugène using his experience and knowledge to ensure all the technical aspects were taken care of, resulting in high standards of precision and quality. In tandem with this, Alice focused her efforts on the aesthetic side of things, bringing a distinctively daring eye for detail to the table and introducing the soft, pleasing curves the Ebel watch brand remains known for to this day.

Case:

A 25mm Stainless Steel and 18ct gold cased Ebel 1911 Sports Quartz Ladies watch with solid 18ct gold bezel, bezel screws and crown. Screw in case back with Model, serial and family number engraved.

Dial:

A simple clean white dial with gold applied Roman Numerals, gold hands and date complication at 3 o’clock with the Ebel logo and name under the 12 o’clock position.

Movement:

At the heart of this watch is the Ebel Calibre 157 Quartz movement a top quality Swiss quartz movement used by Cartier as well (new battery installed).

Strap/Bracelet:

The watch is fastened with the famous Stainless Steel link bracelet with solid 18ct gold interlinks. Supremely comfortable, these bracelets are a true classic. The watch would fit a 17cm wrist.

This watch dates from approximately 1995.

The watch comes with the original Ebel Warranty Card and an Ebel 1911 instruction manual.

The watch is working and has a new battery installed.

The condition of this watch is very good for its age with wear and tear commensurate with careful ownership and use. (please refer to the photographs).
