Pre-Owned Cyma "Dirty Dozen" WW2 Military Men's Watch
WWII Cyma Dirty Dozen watch in used condition but good for its age.
This was one of 12 companies that produced watches for the British Military in WWII, This version, although one of the most produced versions is very popular due to its size and case material. Despite its relatively healthy production run compared to others (20,000 pieces, according to estimates).
Cyma's Dirty Dozen Watch is a favorite of many due to the sizing of its case (a somewhat contemporary 37mm) and its construction in stainless steel, a quality material that was rare at the time due to wartime shortages. Inside is the mechanical Caliber 234, with 15 jewels.
I have purchased a perfect replica A.F.0210 strap in Khaki as this is likely to have been the colour originally issued with this watch as Cyma's were predominantly issued to the British Army.
The watch condition is as you would expect of a watch 80 years old with the face showing some pitting and small rust spots where the dots of lume have come off (hopefully seen in the pictures).
A true momento to the heroes of WWII.
Please note that the movement has not been professionally tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense.
When purchasing a watch for delivery outside of the UK, all local Customs Authority charges i.e. VAT and import charges etc. are the responsibility of the ‘Buyer' and are not included in the sale price of the watch.
The pictures form part of the description.
