This Pre-Owned Breitling Superocean Heritage 38mm Ref: A37320 is a vintage-inspired dive watch produced in 2008. It pays tribute to Breitling's original 1957 mid-sized divers, scaling down the usually chunky Superocean line into a highly wearable case size perfect for smaller wrists.
Unlike its larger 42mm and 46mm siblings, this 38mm version features a unique dial layout characterized by a sub-seconds register and a specific date placement.
Case:
The watch features a polished 38mm Stainless steel case with a 120-click blue unidirectional rotating dive bezel featuring a clean design without individual minute hash marks. There is a solid case back which is signed with the engraved Model Number and watch serial number. The watch features a screw down crown. The date of manufacture is engraved between the lugs and show this watch was produced in the 45th week of 2008.
Dial:
The stunning blue dial has a lovely sunburst effect which without the Superocean wording allows the dial to really stand out. There are silver applied Baton markers for the hours with a minute track on the outside of the dial. There is a date complication at 3 o’clock. An applied vintage gold ‘B’ logo sits just below the twelve o’clock position. The dial has subsidiary chronograph dial at 6 o’clock which shows small seconds. The watch has silver oversized spear hour and minute hands which are lumed. This is all protected by a cambered sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective (AR) coating that creates a signature blue tint in certain lighting.
Movement:
At the heart of the A37320 is an automatic, COSC chronometer-certified Breitling Calibre 37 (based on the ETA 2895-2) with 27 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve.
Strap/Bracelet:
The watch comes with the original Breitling high-quality steel Milanese mesh bracelet with a signed fold over clasp.
This watch has been checked and certified as clear by ‘The Watch Register’ the Global Database of Lost, Stolen and Counterfeit Watches. This database covers a broad range of incidents including robberies, burglaries, snatches, frauds, postal losses, accidental losses and fakes.
The watch comes with the original inner case and travel pouch, outer box, Instruction Booklet and Chronometer Certificate, there are 3 extra bracelet links. There are no other papers.
Watch working on test.
This watch presents in very good condition for its age, with moderate signs of wear (scratches and/or marks), commensurate with careful ownership and use. The bezel has faint scratching throughout. The internals of the watch box and travel pouch show degradation as seems to be normal for Breitling’s of this age, please refer to the photographs.
