The Breitling Colt Chrono Ocean (Ref. A53350) is a highly durable, compact, and sporty Swiss quartz chronograph produced in 1999/2000. Known for its robust build and distinct bezel rider tabs, it is a versatile "daily driver" for smaller wrists or those who prefer classic, 38mm dive watches.

Here we have Pre-Owned Breitling Colt Chrono Ocean Model A53350.

Case:

The Stainless Steel case measures a 38mm and comes highly polished with a contrasting brushed unidirectional Bezel with the quarter rider tabs. To the side are two polished chronograph pushers and a signed lock down screw crown. The case back is solid and contains the model number, the watch serial number and the Breitling embossed logo.

Dial:

The Colt Ocean has a beautiful Matte Blue textured dial. It has an applied silver Arabic 12 and silver applied indices which are lumed. The hour and minute hands are silver and lumed and the central chronograph seconds hand is silver with a contrasting red tip. The three sub-dials are white with a concentric circle pattern with black hands. The two sub-dials at 2 & 10 are the minute and hour chronograph counters and the sub-dial at 6 is the small seconds dial. There is a date complication at betwix 4 & 5 o’clock. The Breitling logo on the dial is done in a lovely gold paint.  The dial is covered with a scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal.

Movement:

At the heart of the Breitling Colt Chrono Ocean is the Breitling Calibre 53 (a COSC-certified thermocompensated quartz movement).

Strap/Bracelet:

The watch comes with a new aftermarket Blue leather two piece strap which matches the dial wonderfully, it is secured with a non-branded silver pin buckle.

This watch has been checked and certified as clear by ‘The Watch Register’ the Global Database of Lost, Stolen and Counterfeit Watches. This database covers a broad range of incidents including robberies, burglaries, snatches, frauds, postal losses, accidental losses and fakes.

This model is from circa 1999/2000 and comes with a Breitling Travel Case only, there are no papers or booklets.

The condition of this watch is Excellent for its age with age related marks and scratches commensurate with careful ownership and use. The Sapphire Crystal has no scratches and the dial is in excellent condition also. A new battery has been installed.
