The Breitling Chronomat Ref. AB0140 is a bold expression of technical excellence and distinctive design, powered by Breitling’s first in-house chronograph movement. With its muscular case, functional features, and signature rider-tab bezel, this model embodies the spirit of aviation.
Case:
The watch features a 41mm stainless steel case with a unidirectional ratcheted bezel and four raised rider tabs for grip and utility. A screw-down crown and chronograph pushers enhance water resistance and durability. Sapphire crystals on the front.
Dial:
This model showcases a silver dial with silver chronograph subdials in the classic 3-6-9 layout. Applied hour markers and sword-shaped hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. A discreet date window is positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock.
Movement:
At the heart of the AB0140 is the Breitling Caliber 01, an in-house, COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement known for its precision and reliability. It offers a 70-hour power reserve, and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Strap/Bracelet:
The watch comes with a factory made leather strap and Breitling buckle.
The watch serial number 3048599 is on both the case & movement.
This model is from 2011 as signified by the date code between the lugs 2211B4 (22 week of year 2011) between the lugs.
With the watch is the original ‘Attestation De Chronometre’ specific for this watch.
This watch presents in good condition for its age, with moderate signs of wear (scratches and/or marks), commensurate with careful ownership and use. Please refer to the photographs.
