Up for sale is a pre-owned authentic, rugged Men's Ball Engineer Master II Diver timepiece, reference DM1020A-P1AJ-BKOR. Engineered for extreme legibility and durability under the toughest marine conditions, Ball watches are world-renowned for their industrial tool-watch builds.
This watch has recently been fully serviced by Swisstec and comes with a 24 month warranty which runs till January 2028. This would have involved a complete movement teardown, ultrasonic cleaning of all components, fresh Swiss lubrication, replacement of case back seals/gaskets, and full pressure testing to ensure water resistance. The Watch works perfectly as it should.
Case:
The Stainless Steel case measures 42mm and comes with a brushed finish with polished elements on the case back. To the side is the signed lock down screw crown as well as the internal bezel crown. On the case back are various engravings and polished embossed elements including the Ball Submersible.
Dial:
The Engineer Master II has a beautiful Matte Black dial with a wavy concentric design, this together with the orange accents of the internal unidirectional rotating bezel gives the watch face a distinctive look. It has applied silver Arabic numbers and silver applied indices, The 12,15, 30 and 45 points are Tritium lume filled (which is faint). There is a date complication window betwixt 4 & 5 and a Day complication window at 3.
Movement:
At the heart of the Engineer Master Diver II is the Ball calibre 2836-2 based on the ETA 2836-2. This calibre is known for it’s robustness and accuracy. 25 Jewels and 42 hour power reserve.
Strap/Bracelet:
The watch comes with an original high-durability Ball black vulcanised rubber strap with signed buckle.
This watch has been checked and certified as clear by ‘The Watch Register’ the Global Database of Lost, Stolen and Counterfeit Watches. This database covers a broad range of incidents including robberies, burglaries, snatches, frauds, postal losses, accidental losses and fakes.
The condition of this watch is Excellent for its age with age related marks and scratches commensurate with careful ownership and use. The watch itself looks barely worn and the case & strap are in excellent condition. The lume is very faint which is not surprising as Tritium Lume has a half life of 10 years and this watch is from 2009 – so 17 years old, however, that does not detract from how great this watch looks.
This watch comes with the original Inner and Outer box and International Guarantee Card and User Manual.
